Methodology

The school is deeply rooted in Bible-based reflective learning, Christian character and values formation, as well as the Notebook and “I do” method of learning. Bible-based reflective learning incorporates the truth of God’s word by introducing biblical principles and teaching students how both dissect and create logical arguments through them. We believe that a person’s inward values influence their outward actions and our focus on Christian Character and Values helps us address these matters appropriately. The Notebook Method of learning teaches students the importance of research, reason, and relation in order to record their individual thoughts, unique perception, and personal understanding of certain subjects and principles. Finally, the “I do” method—used by Mr. Adriano S. Cruz, Sr.—incorporates illustration for instructions, demonstration for decisions, and observation for actions.

All of this allows us to shape a Christian character which reflects the heart of God, build strong communicators who are able to fearlessly speak their mind, train critical thinkers capable of powerful and reflective reasoning, encourage collaboration to serve the community, and inspire creativity that showcases their unique gifts.
